Thanks to GearStar, I finally have and overdrive transmission that performs under extreme conditions perfectly. It has a 383 pushing 500hp with 150 shot of nitrous. A 200 R4 trans with 410 gears. It runs low 11's in the quarter mile.

I took my 05 F350 witth banks package on it to Gear Star for a transmission I pull a 20 foot trailer 12.000 pounds for FEMA I drive 80.000 miles a year this is my d transmission in this truck I wanted it done right I was tired of having my truck down, I spoke to Zack he was very professional on the phone with no B.S his price was a more expensive than the other transmission shops but I liked what he had to say so I brought the truck to them they removed my transmission and remanufactured it level 3 with a billet converter I have just over 50.000 miles on the trasnsmission and I can say that the difference between what I had and what gear star did is like night and day, These guys are the real deal I would not take my trucks anywhere else, I sent my dad and brother to them and they are both very happy with their transmission. Hello Zack, Thank you very much for the great job you did on my Marauder no more slipping between 1st and 2nd gear. it hits hard on the 2-3 shift and 1-2 is just insane I really like it the difference is unreal, the car has a Kenny Bell package on it and for the 1st time I feel we are really putting the power to the ground. I can cruise at 35MPH and punch it will just smoke the tires.

Zack , First let me apologize for the lateness of this message. We have been dealing with family health issues (my mom) and I have finally gotten around to writing this. I would like to thank you and your staff for the first-rate service I received when ordering and picking-up my new 700R4-4L60 transmission. I have installed it and at present have about 1000 miles on it without a glitch. As you know, my previous 700R4 (from another supplier) gave up (died). After installing your unit in my 39 Ford Dlx Cpe, I can't believe the difference in performance. Your transmission even woke up my ZZ4 SBC. The supplied kit included everything, even the bolts for the trans mount, and would have made it an easy swap had I not already had a 700R4 in place. Dear Zach, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the time spent in discussing my latest street rod project. During our initial conversation, you suggested that I consider using one of your 4L85E, Stage 3 transmissions along with a 10”, 3400-stall converter. The unit was delivered on time, installed and equipped with a paddle shifter and has since preformed flawlessly. As you know, the little 37 is powered by an LS-7 and is being fitted with a water/methanol system. The performance of the car exceeded my expectations and has surprised many an unsuspecting individual. Using 3.50:1 gears and the 25% transmission overdrive, the highway mileage averages approximately 25mpg. It doesn't get much better than that! I have been actively building street rods since 1952 and have dealt with many vendors over the years. Many products never met their advertised quality and performance levels. Believe me, it is refreshing to deal with a person who is knowledgeable and follows through with his commitments. We will soon be starting our LS-9 project. You can expect to hear from me.
